AI & human-oversight disclosure

Where AI is used on this site
The "Ask Riley" chat is powered by a large language model accessed through OpenRouter. It is clearly a demonstration: it shows the responsiveness of our systems, it identifies itself as AI when asked, and it is instructed never to give legal advice, quote prices or promise outcomes. Demonstration conversations are processed by our server and our AI provider to generate responses.
Where AI is used in our service
In client engagements, Riley systems automate defined operational workflows for law firms — intake, follow-up, document handling, communication and reporting. Every engagement is built with firm-approved rules, escalation paths and human review: urgent and sensitive matters route to people, exceptions are reviewed rather than buried, and quality is audited continuously.
What our AI never does
- It does not practice law, provide legal advice, or replace attorneys, legal judgment or work that must be performed by a licensed professional.
- It does not act outside the workflows and rules a firm has approved.
- It does not operate without human oversight in sensitive workflows.
