Privacy & data handling
Last updated September 11, 2026
riley.legal is operated by Plexus Commercial Group LLC ("Plexus", "we"). This page explains, in plain language, what information this site collects and how it is handled.
What we collect
- Bottleneck review requests. When you submit the form, we receive the details you enter: name, firm, email, phone, practice area, lead volume and the bottleneck you describe, plus whether you checked the text-message consent box and the time of your request.
- Ask Riley demonstration. Messages you type into the chat are sent to our server and to our AI model provider (OpenRouter) to generate a response. Don't include confidential or case-specific details in the demo.
- Standard server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Render) records basic request information such as IP address, for security and rate-limiting.
How we use it
We use review-request information to respond to you, schedule and conduct your review, and evaluate a potential engagement — including, if you gave consent, texting you at the number you provided via our messaging provider (Twilio). We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Where it lives and who touches it
Request data is stored on our hosting provider's encrypted infrastructure and is accessible to authorized Plexus personnel. Service providers that process data on our behalf: Render (hosting), Twilio (text messages), OpenRouter (AI responses for the demonstration). Each receives only what its function requires.
Text messages
We text you only if you checked the consent box on the form. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts; our messaging provider honors this automatically.
